According to the association, the cost of renting accommodation around UNILESA has continued to surge at an alarming rate, with some landlords allegedly placing rental prices on par with high-income neighborhoods such as Lekki in Lagos State. The students argue that these price increases do not reflect corresponding improvements in living conditions and essential amenities.
