The National Youth Assembly of Nigeria (NYAN), Osun State Chapter, on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, successfully inaugurated its newly elected executives and hosted a Youth Leadership Summit at GMT Hotel and Event Center, Ring Road, Osogbo.
The event brought together youth leaders, stakeholders, government representatives, student leaders, and young professionals from across Osun State to discuss issues relating to leadership, youth development, and democratic participation.
The summit, themed “The Role of Leadership and Personal Growth in Reducing Electoral Violence,” provided a platform for meaningful conversations on responsible leadership, civic engagement, and the importance of personal development in fostering peaceful democratic processes.
The inauguration ceremony officially ushered in a new executive administration led by Rt. Hon. Speaker Ogbeni Sasona Mayowa Ayomide, marking the beginning of a renewed commitment to youth representation, empowerment, and advocacy across Osun State.
Distinguished guests and panelists at the event commended the leadership of NYAN Osun State for creating a platform that promotes constructive dialogue, youth participation, and leadership development. They encouraged young people to embrace integrity, self-development, and active citizenship as tools for driving positive change within society.
The newly inaugurated executives pledged their commitment to advancing the vision of the Assembly through impactful programs, strategic partnerships, youth-focused initiatives, and inclusive leadership aimed at improving the lives of young people across Osun State.
